Alakanada of 'Balmikipratibha' fame, the Tagorean play with correctional home convicts, having been staged in different parts of the country, said, "Already I am involved with the education of some children of convicts of several correctional homes in a pilot project. It is a humble initiative on my part."
"I am planning to stage dramas and other skits with children from diverse backgrounds in future," the eminent danceuse, whose life story had inspired the film Muktodhara transforming the life of a murder convict two years back, said.
"I have thoughtfully given the tag 'Live and Let Fly' and designed these Kokeshi doll printed dresses for these little angels who should be given as much priority by parents and society as boys as by empowering them as they grow up we work towards a better society," Sayantan, having designed Paoli Dam's ethnic costume during Cannes visit last year, said.
