Indian-born Swede Daniel Chopra missed the cut at the inaugural Pinnacle Bank Championship after turning in a four-over 75.
At three-over 145 overall, he was way outside the cut that fell at one-under 141.
Matt Davidson carded a second-round, six-under 65 and his nine-under 133 total places him one shot ahead of Tour rookie Beau Hossler (66), Sam Ryder (67) and PGA TOUR veteran Justin Hicks (69) heading into the weekend.
First round leader Tom Lovelady (64-71) was tied-fifth.
