Daughters of Maoist couple visit them in jail

Two teenage daughters of the jailed Maoist couple, Roopesh and Shyna, met their parents at the central prison here today.
Police said Aami (18) and Thaju Savera (14) came to the jail with their paternal uncle and submitted a requisition to visit their parents.
Permission was granted, but their requests to allow them carry a camera and mobile phones inside to photograph their parents were denied, police said
Roopesh and his wife were among five Maoists arrested on May 4 at Karumathampatti, some 20 kms from here.
Their arrests were made by Andhra police following a joint operation by that state, Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu police.
