Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reunited to crack an alien conspiracy earlier in the year and there have been rumblings ever since that more is on the way, reported Digital Spy.
The latest hint at more "X-Files" comes courtesy of a birthday tweet for Anderson sent by Duchovny.
"Happy Birthday, Gillian. If you see Dana, tell her Fox says she might wanna polish up the ol' badge soon-ish. Love, D," Duchovny posted.
While Fox Broadcasting president David Madden admitted he'd "love to do another season" of "The X-Files", there is no actual commission.
