DD hopes to revive 'Fauji' days with new show on army men

A new show on the challenges faced by army personnel will be aired on public broadcaster Doordarshan from January 5.
"Paltan" will highlight the lives, dreams, aspirations, emotions and challenges of the officers in the armed forces, a statement today said.
The plot revolves around four young officers, who are great friends also, in the same regiment.
The story of "Paltan" has shades of bravery, action, emotions, love, passion, tension, deceit, loyalty and at times humour, the statement said, adding with this show, Doordarshan hopes to relive its golden days of 'Fauji'.
The show has been slotted at 10.30 pm, the release said.
