The meal was not served after the lizard was detected at the Regedi Primary School at Hinjili, Block Development Officer (BDO), Subhransu Mishra said.
Over 120 students were given biscuits instead, he said.
The food was supplied by the private Nandi Foundation.
The Block Education Officer of Hinjili was making an inquiry into the incident, the BDO said.
Mishra said he would discuss the matter with the district collector before taking any step.
Earlier, on July 25, a lizard was found in soya curry before it was served in the same school.
Hinjili is the assembly constituency of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
Earlier, a dead worm was found in a midday meal at a primary school at Corporation Road here, sources said.
