The bench of acting Chief Justice Rajendra Menon and Justice Vivek Rusia said the committee shall have a retired district judge, a representative of the Union Health Department and the dean of Bhopal Government Medical College.
The court was hearing three PILs on the issue.
Advocate Manish Yadav, representing Pramod Tiwari, one of the petitioners, said the committee would have to submit its report within two months as per the HC order.
A pipeline which was supposed to supply oxygen to patients in the newly-built operation theatre at the government-run MY Hospital here was carrying nitrous oxide, an anaesthetic agent.
This led to deaths of Ayush (5) and Rajveer (1) on May 27 and 29, respectively.
