Additional Secretary for state home department Lalbiakzama told PTI over phone that the meeting was attended by officials from both Mizoram and Tripura governments and leaders of the relief camp-based Mizoram Bru Displaced People's Forum (MBDPF).
Lalbiakzama said the MBDPF leaders reiterated their demands, pressing for acceptance, to which the Mizoram government officials said their demands could only be met and fulfilled by the Centre, not by the state government.
As per the Road Map-V for Bru repatriation prepared by Mizoram government, the repatriation process would commence from November 1.
