In an interview given to news channel CNN News18, Diesel revealed that the first thing the Bollywood star asked after coming on board was to have an India premiere of the film.
"When Deepika first met us to talk about the role she said, 'If I do this role you have to promise me one thing that we do a premiere at India'. And just last week we were scheduling a premiere in India for January 2017. So it's really going to happen," Diesel, 49, said.
The movie, which is the third installment in the "xXx" franchise, also stars Donnie Yen, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev, Rory McCann, Ruby Rose and Samuel L Jackson.
