Del govt clears three projects

Delhi government has cleared three projects, including construction of three schools in Dwarka and Rohini, amounting to over Rs 117 crore.
According to senior government official, Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) has passed three Projects amounting to Rs 117.79 crore.
"The EFC has given its nod for construction of three buildings of senior secondary schools at Sector 5 Dwarka, Sector 3 Dwarka and Sector 21 Rohini with total estimated cost of Rs 51 Crore. The project to be executed by the PWD would be completed between 15 to 18 months," the official said.
The EFC has also approved a project of the Industries department for re-development and up-gradation of roads and drains at Lawrence Road Industrial Area, Block A, B & C at an estimated cost of Rs 30.97 Crore.

"The project would be executed by the DSIIDC and would be completed within 12 Months. The completion of the project is going to improve the condition of the industrial area which is in a dismal condition," he added.
He also said that the Revenue Department would also construct an Office of Deputy Commissioner (West) at Shivaji Place, Raja Garden.
"This building would be six storied including ground floor apart from two basements. The Department has decided to develop the new office suitably in order to meet the requirements of a modern office," he added.
