The project is based on Energy Service Company (ESCO) model and Military Engineering Services has opted to proceed with Fixed Annuity Based Performance Contract model for implementation of the project.
"The unique initiative at Delhi Cantonment would result in reduction of eight thousand tonne of CO2 emission per annum apart from allied commercial benefits," a statement by the Army said.
