The call centre will start operating from June 15 onwards, Public Works Department minister Satyendar Jain announced today.
Jain chaired a meeting of different agencies to take stock of the monsoon preparedness in the city.
The three municipal corporations, the DDA, the PWD, Flood and Irrigation department, Delhi Jal Board (DJB) have been directed to complete all monsoon preparedness work by June 7.
"Various agencies have also been asked to keep their pumps for water-logging removal ready by June 7," an official statement said.
Jain also directed the PWD, the DDA and the MCDs to complete the desilting of drains in their respective jurisdictions by June 7.
