Delhi Police rescue abducted businessman, kill suspected

Delhi Police today rescued a 38-year-old abducted businessman and killed one of the suspected kidnappers in an encounter in Rohtak.
According to police, Ramlal Tyagi, who deals in shoes, was kidnapped by some unidentified persons in his car last night.
"Police got information that some persons have abducted a person and were taking him to Rohtak area of Haryana. On receiving the information, a police team of south west district chased them. When the accused reached Rohtak, they opened fire at police officials," said a senior police officer.
In retaliation, police opened fire and killed one accused identified as Raj Kumar in an encounter, the office said.
Raj Kumar had several cases registered against him and police had been looking for them for a long time, the officer said.
Police have managed to rescue Ramlal from their clutches, officer added.
He also said a case has been registered in this regard.
