Delhi Police team for Surat to study CCTV system there

A high-level Delhi Police team led by Special Commissioner of Police (Operations) Sundari Nanda, is going to Surat in Gujarat to study the CCTV system installed in the city based on PPP mode.
"Studying the sustainable practices already in place in Surat would help more public participation in the endeavour of making Delhi safer. Currently, the CCTV network in Delhi is only funded by the government," an official statement said.
The system has been helpful in prevention and detection of crime.
The team also consists of a technical team of DCP (Communication) Naved Mumtaz, Additional DCP (Communication) Satyawan Gautam and others.
