There were 2,86,951 registered dealers in the capital who paid DVAT during 2012-2013, but the number dropped to 2,64,340 in 2013-14, the Delhi Economic Survey 2014-15 tabled by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
The revenue, however, increased from Rs 15,803.60 crore to Rs 17,925.35 crore during the same period, which recorded an annual average growth rate at 15.14 per cent.
The total number of persons found to be working in these establishments worked out to 29.85 lakh. Out of which, 26.21 lakh were male and the remaining 3.64 lakh were female, it said.
