Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel Saturday expressed grief over the death of veteran Congress leader and three-time former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit.
Dikshit (81) died at a private hospital in Delhi Saturday afternoon after suffering a cardiac arrest.
"I am saddened to hear the death of our leader and former chief minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshit ji. Recently I got the opportunity to get her blessings. This changed and shining Delhi would never be able to forget its creator 'Maa' (mother)," the CM tweeted.
State BJP unit president Vikram Usendi said, "Sheila Dikshit ji was a gentle face of Indian politics. Her valuable contributions for development of Delhi will always be remembered. Her sudden death is a big loss for politics".
