Delna Poonawala to showcase collection at London Fashion Week

Designer Delna Poonawala will be showcasing her collection "Dark Mistress" at the upcoming London Fashion Week (LFW) this month.
Delna known for her feminine designs will showcase her new couture collection at the LFW on September 17.
The range is all about elevating evening wear to a high fashion status with play of deconstructed duality and sheer overlays, a media release issued here said.
"Almost like a transformation from darkness into light, each and every design oozes style and self-confidence. Bold, structured gowns in intense colours will dominate the collection 'Dark Mistress'," Delna said in the statement.
The line has silhouettes starting from lighter/edgy pieces like capes, shorts and A-line dresses and progressing to more royal pieces.

The colour palette includes shades of blood red, midnight blue, maroon among others.
According to the designer, the collection is wearable off the ramp as well which can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.
