Demand for another RS seat for Arunachal Pradesh

The Arunachal Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee (APMCC) has demanded one more Rajya Sabha seat for the state.
A resolution to this effect was taken during the mahila convention of the party here yesterday, party sources said.
Arunachal Pradesh currently has one Rajya Sabha seat.
It also sought a branch of the National Women's Bank in the state capital.
APMCC also emphasised on the establishment of women police stations in each district headquarter of the state to tackle women related cases.
