Noting that the process of corruption begins from donations to political parties ahead of polls, former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot today said the Prime Minister should clarify whether the money he used in his election campaign was white or black.
"Why the PM is avoiding telling the nation that the money he used in elections was white or black?" Gehlot asked.
"The money used in any election comes from donation and corruption begins here. In such a scenario, talking of ending black money and its menace is nothing by hypocrisy," he told reporters at the state Congress headquarters here.
He said it was unfortunate that no one is ready to talk and discuss on the donation money received by political parties, which generates corruption.
"PM should talk to all parties should reach a consensus on the issue so that corruption could be eradicated," he said.
