Demonetisation has given rise to unemployment: Ahmed

Congress leader Shakeel Ahmad today said that the demonetisation has severely hit the Indian economy and has given rise to unemployment in the last one month.
He said people were unhappy with this scheme, they have to wait in long queues to get the money. "People being prevented from withdrawing their own money from their bank account is the brazen violation of their fundamental right."
Claiming that nearly 80 people have died since demonetisation, he demanded compensation for their families.
The Congress leader asked the people to teach lesson to BJP by not voting for the party in the upcoming 2017 UP elections.

Ahmad alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was working in the interest of industrialists and the demonetisation scheme has only brought suffering to the middle and lower class people.
He said that BJP leaders knew about the scheme even before its announcement on November 8.
