Speaking at the valedictory session of International Industrial Trade Fair organised by BNCCI, Deb said tourism earning in the state had affected badly due to demonitisation.
He, however, did not quantified the impact in the state.
Inbound travellers from other states and even international tourists faced cash crunch at their hands leading to lower spending, the minister indicated and criticised the Center for problems faced in general trade and commerce.
The business at the fair, an annual event, was not very good said stall owners across the country and overseas.
BNCCI officials said overall business level was lukewarm compared to earlier years.
