Deoband bans students from using camera phones

The students were warned that disciplinary action will be taken against them if found using mobile phones with camera in the future, deputy vice chancellor Maulana Abdul Khalik told reporters here today.

Khalik said that cellular phone handsets without camera or video recording features have to be used by the students to prevent any adverse affect on their minds.
