Dr S Swaminathan, Vice Chancellor of the university said Periyaswamy used to withdraw amount from the university funds for making arrangements for examinations.
But he has not provided accounts regarding the expenditure for the Rs 35 lakh he has withdran from 2013-15 till February 28.
He was suspended on his retirement day. Unless proper accounts were given or reimburse the amount, crimial case will be booked against him, Swaminathan said.
