The design had been presented to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
"The main design (of the cultural complex) incorporates in it four more inside designs of four auditorium with a seating capacity of 3,000, 1,500, 1,000 and 500," an official release said.
The building for which the Chief Minister will lay foundation, will shortly be constructed on the vacant place of about 14 acres (at the NTR stadium) opposite Indira Park in the city, it said.
Within the site, the building will be almost centrally located with lawns on either side. There will be two corner gates one located on the North-west side and the other towards south-east. Besides these two, a grand gate towards east side will also be kept.
The proposed and approved design of the Kalabharathi building will have many features. It will have an experience theater, preview theater, practice and rehearsal areas, library, art museum gallery, painting gallery, sculpture gallery, VIP lounge, media lounge, etc.
