Obama sends Holy Cloth for offering at Ajmer Sharif

A red coloured Chaddar (Holy Cloth), which was sent by US President Barack Obama on the occasion of the 803th annual celebrations of Urs of Hz.Khawaja Moinudeen Chishty, would be offered at Ajmer Dargah Sharif in Rajasthan tomorrow.
The Chaddar with a message 'Greeting of Peace' from Obama was handed over to Haji Syed Salman Chishty, Director of the Chishty Foundation by the US Ambassador in India Richard Verma.
According to Chishty, the Chaddar was received from the US Embassy, a few days back.
This was the first time that the US Government was sending a Chaddar to us, he added.
