"In any organisation, there are going to be different opinions. But our support to AAP is there," Patel, who is in the city to address the state extended executive committee meeting, told reporters in response to a query.
"Now, when we have extended support, we hope that they do good work and fulfil promises given by them," Patel said.
Congress, with eight MLAs in Delhi, have given support to Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP, which has decided to form the government in the state.
Sections in the party view that supporting AAP, which is hitting out at Congress day in and day out and threatening to book its leaders and ordering probes against them, makes the party look poor in peoples' eyes.
