Detonators recovered in Birbhum

Two persons were arrested from Khapur village in Birbhum district today after 1.80 lakh detonators were recovered from them, the police said.
Acting on a tip-off, the Birbhum police and CRPF officials detained a truck at Khapur village in Nalhati police station area and recovered the detonators, the police said.
Superintendent of Police of Birbhum, N Sudheer Kumar said, "We have started an investigation."
The arrested persons were produced at Rampurhat Court and were remanded to four days police custody.
