The Trinamool Congress MP, who is playing the lead role in the film, tweeted, "Team CHAAMP stays grateful and proud to share that we have been declared TAX-FREE in West Bengal."

The film, directed by popular Bengali filmmaker Raj Chakraborty, also stars critically acclaimed 'Chotuskone' actor and TMC MLA Chiranjeet Chakraborty and actress Priyanka Sarkar, among others.
The film will hit theatres on June 23.
