Devotees pay homage to memorials at Aurobindo Ashram

Devotees today paid homage at the memorials of Aurobindo and The Mother (Mira Alfassa) here on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the arrival of the Mother to carry out spiritual experiments in collaboration with Aurobindo.
Devotees were let into the chambers on the precincts of the Aurobindo Ashram where the two spiritual savants had stayed and carried out spiritual experiments. Meditation was also held by the devotees in front of the memorials of the two spiritual leaders.
The Mother first came to Puducherry in 1914 and after a short sojourn returned to France and came back to Puducherry on April 24 in 1920 and permanently settled down to collaborate with Aurobindo in his spiritual tasks.
