The traffic snarl was reported from several parts of the city and commuters from East Delhi heading towards Kashmiri Gate and Central Delhi had to face traffic jams as the ITO bridge was halted for hours due to the ghat created there for the devotees.
Officer goers were stuck in a heavy-traffic jam as several roads were packed with vehicles.
ITO, Trans-Yamuna area, Wazirabad, Malviya Nagar, Kashmiri Gate, Seelampur, Sarita Vihar, Burari, Udeshiya Ghat, Laxmi Nagar, Vikas Marg, NH-24, Noida-Link Road are among the areas where traffic cops had a tough time to manage the vehicles.
