Department of Financial Services Secretary Gurdial Singh Sandhu today launched the Grievance Registration and Information Database System (GRIDS) of National Housing Bank (NHB).
GRIDS is a 24*7 on-line database system, which facilitates mainly the customers of Housing Finance Companies (HFC) to lodge complaint and also track its status.
"Implementation of GRIDS will facilitate efficiency, transparency and paperlessness in NHB's grievance redressal mechanism," NHB said in a statement.
The complaints lodged in GRIDS will be dealt in accordance with framework mentioned in grievance redressal policy of NHB, it added.
GRIDS has been developed in-house by NHB, and is an internet based integrated, on-line, common platform for the complainants.
