Diamond Power board to consider warrant issue worth Rs 244 cr

Diamond Power Infrastructure's board will consider proposal for the issuance of around 5.31 crore warrants worth Rs 244.55 crore to CKP Power Finserve Pvt Ltd on preferential basis.
"In the board meeting scheduled on February 14, 2017, the board will consider proposal for issue of around 5,31,63,383 warrants convertible into equity shares amounting to Rs 244.55 crore to CKP Power Finserve Pvt Ltd on preferential basis," Diamond Power Infrastructure has informed BSE today.

Avaya strengthens R&D leadership team
* Communications solutions provider Avaya has strengthened its R&D leadership team to drive digital transformation in India.

The company has elevated Patrick Peisker to Director of Customer Engagement, Raman Adlakha to Director of Team Engagement and Vivek Jaiswal to Senior Director and R&D Lead for Avaya Bangalore.

"These changes in the leadership team will enable us to accelerate our business momentum in the country by strengthening our position in the R&D sector," Avaya MD India and SAARC Vishal Agrawal said.

Tata Sky to showcase Oscar nominated films * Direct-to-Home firm TataSky would showcase Oscar nominated films on its new Showcase service called Tata Sky Hollywood Winners.
Available in both SD and HD, Tata Sky Hollywood Winners will be complimentary for all Tata Sky subscribers, the company said in a statement.

This service will showcase select movies that were winners or nominated for 'Best Picture', 'Best Director', 'Best Actor/Actress in a lead role' in the previous years' Academy Awards, it added.
Tata Sky Chief Content and Business Development Officer Paolo Agostinelli said: "The last Oscars was watched in over 200 countries with a viewership of over 30 mn. Apart from viewership the demand for Oscar nominated or winning movies also goes up during this time of the year.
