The Tripura gymnast, who missed an Olympic medal in Rio by a whisker, and her coach Bishweshwar Nandi were today named ambassadors of Bengal Baseball Association.
"Bengal Baseball Association is glad to announce Olympian Dipa Karmakar and Dronacharya Awardee Bishweshwar Nandi as our ambassadors," the association stated in a release.
This was announced on the sidelines of their annual General Meeting here today.
