According to the police, Mukesh Kumar Meena, who was physically disabled as his both arms were weak and without fingers, had lost money in gambling with local residents on the night of November nine.
When he could not pay the dues, they threatened and started to beat him. He allegedly jumped into a well near his residence trying to save his life, police said.
Later, the villagers rescued Mukesh on the same night, and admitted to a nearby government hospital.
The accused have been identified as Babulal Meena and Shravan Yogi and have been arrested under sections 307 and 302 of IPC for alleged murder, they said.
Police is on the look out for the other accused in the incident.
