District jail medical officer shifted due to 'negligence in

The Medical Officer of district jail has been transferred to CMO office for alleged negligence in providing treatment to the inmates.
"Dr Chander Gupt has been attached with CMO office for alleged negligence in duty. He has been replaced by Dr Avnish Kumar," jail Superintendent Rakesh Singh said.
From July to November this year, four inmates have reportedly died in the district jail due to illness.
