DMK convenes district secretaries meet July 20

The NEET issue and the platinum jubilee celebrations of DMK mouth piece "Murasoli" will be among the subjects to be discussed in the party district secretaries meet on July 20 here.
Tamil Nadu has been seeking exemption from NEET maintaining that it would affect the students from the state.
In February, the assembly had adopted two bills seeking to ensure continuation of the present system of admission to medical courses in the state.
The meeting, to be held at the party headquarters, would be presided over by DMK working president M K Stalin, a release said.
While DMK continues to target ruling AIADMK on the NEET issue, grand celebrations are in the works to mark the party newspaper completing 75 years of service next month.

Allies and leaders of political parties are expected to be invited for the platinum jubilee of the newspaper event.
