The 19-year-old victim, who lives in Narela, had been taking coaching classes for a nursing course from a private institute, they added.
On October 4, Md Iqbal Shah (49), a visiting faculty at the institute, allegedly sent the other students away and called the victim to his room. He assured her that he would get her admitted to a good college and held her hand forcibly, the police said.
The woman managed to escape from there and subsequently, narrated the incident to her parents who approached the police.
Shah also runs a doctors' polyclinic from a rented property in Narela.
