A domestic aide was given life term by a Muzaffarnagar court Friday for abducting and killing the seven-year-old son of his employer seven years ago in a nearby village.
Additional Sessions Judge Gaurav Kumar Shrivastava also imposed a fine of Rs 45,000 on convict Suraj.
Prosecution counsel Jitender Tyagi said the court sentenced Suraj after finding guilty of committing the heinous crime of abduction and killing.
He said the incident dates back to October 27, 2013, when Suraj lured the child to a farming filed in Muthbhar village under Bhorakala police station in the district and strangulated him.
The domestic aide took the extreme step out of anger against his employer for beating for his failure in running some domestic chorus in time, he said.
