The Jammu and Kashmir Congress today asked party workers to donate liberally for the relief fund raised by it for flood-ravaged people in the state.
Accepting cheques from party leaders for the relief fund, former Union Minister and state Congress chief Saifuddin Soz asked party activists to donate liberally for the flood-hit people.
In view of large-scale devastation caused by rains and floods in the state, corporate houses and individuals should also contribute for the PCC relief fund, Soz said at a party function here.
On the occasion, several top state Congress leaders donated Rs one lakh each to the party relief fund.
