The value of the contraband in the grey market is estimated at around Rs 2.62 crore.
Acting on a tip-off, the vehicle, headed to Odisha, was intercepted by the sleuths last evening who found the cannabis packed in many bags hidden under gravel stones in the lorry, the agency said in a release issued today.
The sleuths arrested seven persons, including the driver of the lorry, in connection with the seizure and booked them under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985, it said, adding that further investigation is on.
