Driver gets six month jail term for mowing down elderly

A driver of Haridwar Municipality was sentenced to six month imprisonment for mowing down an elderly under his vehicle six years ago.
Sentencing driver Dinesh Kumar to six month jail term yesterday, the CJM's court also imposed a fine of Rs 2500 on him.
A case had been lodged against Kumar by the victim's brother in 2007, accusing him of reckless driving and mowing down his elder brother Keval Krishna.
