Drug peddler arrested in J-K's Samba

An alleged drug peddler was arrested and intoxicant capsules were recovered from him in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district Friday, police said.

A police party intercepted a person on suspicious grounds in Samba and during frisking, 1,000 intoxicant capsules were recovered from his possession, they said.

Preet Kumar (20), a resident of Budwani, Samba, was arrested and contraband items were seized, police said.

A case was registered in this connection, they said, adding that a probe is underway.
