Acting on a tip-off, Deepak Kumar Tijori was nabbed from Mahipalpur-Najafgarh road and 104 kg ganja worth approximately Rs 70 lakh has been recovered from his possession, they said.
During interrogation, Tijori told police that he got into the business of supplying drugs as he could not make ends meet after he was removed by his company a year ago.
"He started purchasing ganja at Rs 2,000 per kg from Padkunda village in Odisha. He used to travel in AC first class coach of Bhubaneshwar-Rajdhani Express and hire two ladies as carriers in order to avoid any suspicion and scrutiny," Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Ravindra Yadav said.
