Drug peddler held in South Kashmir

Police today arrested an alleged drug peddler and seized three kg of charas from his possession in Pulwama district of south Kashmir.
"Acting on a tip off, a police party apprehended a man identified as Mohammad Yaqoob Bhat of Takibal-Bijbehara at Awantipora Chowk," a police spokesman said.
He said three kg of charas were seized from his possession during the checking of his belongings.
"A case has been registered in Police Station Awantipora against the accused and investigation taken up," the spokesman said.
