Acting on a tip-off, the police intercepted an auto rikshaw coming from the railway station at Kujwani Morh in the city and found 299 bottles of illegal drugs in the vehicle.
The auto rickshaw driver and another person sitting inside the vehicle were arrested, police said.
A case was registered in this regard at Gangyal police station, they said.
The driver confessed that the consignment was brought from Uttar Pradesh and was meant to be sold among the youths in Jammu, police added.
