Drunk driving: Three killed, two injured in Kanpur

In a suspected drunk driving case, three youths have been killed and two injured after their car rammed into a divider on a highway in the early hours here today, police said.
The mishap took place around 3:00 AM on the Panaki highway near here, SP (Rural) Surendra Tiwari said.
Police reached the accident spot and found that five persons were trapped inside the car and some broken liquor bottles were lying near them, he said.
Three youths identified as 26-year-old Prince Misha, 23-year-old Prashant Verma and 24-year-old Pushkar Yadav were killed on the spot, SP said. All were the friends from the Kanpur city itself.
Two others were injured and have been admitted to a hospital wherein the condition of one of them is stated to be critical, he said.
All bodies have been sent for the post mortem and investigations are underway, police said.
