Drunk passenger arrested at Airport for assaulting others

A passenger on his way to Delhi by an Indigo flight from NSCBI Airport here was arrested after he allegedly assaulted a fellow passenger and some airline employees during security check, the police today said.
The passenger identified as Anand Puri, a resident of Delhi, tried to break queue pushing another passenger Prahland Goenka in an inebriated state before boarding a Delhi-bound Indigo flight last night, the police said.
When Goenka confronted him and some airline employees confronted him, Puri allegedly roughed them up, they said.
Airport security personnel rushed to the spot and Puri was handed over to the local police, who arrested him.
