A fully drunk man today allegedly bit a salesman of a TASMAC liquor shop and four others here.
The man, who gulped down two bottles of liquor, insisted on the salesman for another refill while the latter asked him to wait as he had to attend to fresh customers, police said.
Annoyed over the delay, he bit him and four others who came in support of the salesman.
People there overpowered and beat him and tied him to a lamp post before police rushed and rescued him.
As his wife pleaded with police to release him, he was sent off with a warning not to repeat such activities.
