According to the MeT department, the weather remained dry in vast swathes of north India including Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh.
In Delhi, the weather remained mostly pleasant with a slight nip in the air during the morning.
According to the MeT department, the maximum temperature was recorded at 31.2 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, while the minimum settled around 15 degrees.
Humidity in the air oscillated between 35 and 85 per cent during the day.
In Rajasthan, temperatures remained on lower side of normal in western parts of the state. The maximum temperature in Jaipur settled at 34.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum was 17.6 degrees.
In Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow, the mercury touched 29.8 degrees Celsius.
According to a MeT forecast, isolated rain may occur in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir in the next few days.
