The bus service was flagged off by Delhi Transport Minister Gopal Rai here.
"The DTC has started a "University Special" bus service between Hauz Khas metro station and South Campus. Two trips from each side have been provided," a senior Delhi government official said.
"The decision was taken after a delegation of DU students had met the Transport minister 10 days ago raising the demand. Low floor CNG buses operated by the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) have been provided for rendering the U- special trips," he added.
